The scritter adds some much needed life to the sculk growths. While silence is part of the identity of the biome, there needs to be some sort of interesting disturbance there. Walking around very slowly while holding shift through a lifeless tunnel just isn't going to be that much fine. Having the occasional scritter makes things more interesting.

Continue reading How to approach them: Like rabbits, foxes want you to chase them. Repeat the chase three times, and on the third time, they will sit down and let you approach them. Refers to these Ingredient Categories as they are defined on the Ingredients tab of the Collection menu - i.e. Mushroom and Vanilla are included as Spices & Herbs, Spring V-EGG-etable is included as a Vegetable, and Seaweed is not. Each color of critter follows a specific schedule - only appearing during certain times on specific days of the week. Sundays are the best day for critter variety, as almost all color variants have a chance to spawn in either the morning or afternoon. Some rare critter colors only spawn on one specific day of the week for a window of only six hours. Excellent product for easily processing apples of different sizes without having to cut them. I tried it with crab apples, cider apples, giant cooking apples, quince, Japanese quince and it made short work of all of themPlease let us know what ya think!
