Vermicelli pasta is made from rice, so they are lower in calories than traditional pasta that is made with flour. Also, rice vermicelli noodles have very little fat and zero cholesterol. Spaghetti: Spaghetti is a type of long, thin pasta that is made from durum wheat flour and water. It is commonly used in Italian cuisine and has a similar appearance to vermicelli. Heat neutral oil (such as corn or sunflower oil) in a frying pan on medium heat, and add your nut to the hot oil.
