She hired the architect Basil Champneys to help her build the library in a Victorian Neo-gothic style. Built in 1912, this library took its inspiration from English architecture, like the King's College Chapel in Oxford.

The most impressive room at John Rylands Library is their Historic Reading Room which looks like the inside of a cathedral. There's also a " Chained Library" room filled with books on chains to avoid theft — I'd bet it's seriously lacking in books on Nicholas Flamel though.It's unknown when, but Dumbledore eventually removed every book containing information on Horcruxes in the library.

Although they didn’t film the movies here, you’ll still feel like you’re wandering around the Wizarding World in their ancient cloisters, ornate staircase, and historic reading rooms.
