ON THE NOSE Like any quality premium rum, Equiano subtly delivers tropical warmth as soon as its aroma touches your nose. Equiano Rum is a never seen before blend of two cultures, two distilleries and two islands, making it a perfect collaboration of east and west. Blended with rum from Africa and the Caribbean, aromas of vanilla and dried oak are complimented by pears, pink grapefruit and grassy notes on the palate. The Barbados rum is from Foursquare distillery and is aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon casks, while the Mauritian rum is from Gray’s distillery and is aged for 2 years in French oak casks.
