There fact it is split over 3 floors made it better for a group of 8 with 4 kids as the kids had plenty of space. Clover Cottage is an ideal starting point for a trip for two across the Lake District National Park, owing to its close proximity to many local amenities and must-see sights and attractions. WE enjoyed our stay in Clover Cottage and everything was catered for and very clean. We have stayed in a lot of holiday rentals over the years, this one is the tops A-frame beams, Velux windows and a woodburning stove promise to add a sense of charm to those cosy nights.

Clover Cottage is a new-build bungalow which has been designed and finished brilliantly by the owners. At Clover Cottage we aim to provide a friendly 'home-from-home' environment with residents encouraged to give their rooms a personal touch by adding their own small pieces of furniture and ornaments.
Save time, save money!
We loved watching the changing reflections in the water at the end of the lovely garden and the comings and goings of the various water birds. Parking arrangements were excellent. The cottage was extremely well-equipped with every facility one could hope for. It should be noted that the spiral stairs are quite steep and there is no upstairs bathroom so toilet visits in the night need to be done with care. This Pembrokeshire cottage will certainly be a relaxing base after busy days exploring all Pembrokeshire has to offer. It is very peaceful with beautiful views of the countryside. It is well equipped with everything you need for self catering. There are plenty of places to visit all within a short drive. I would highly recommend Clover Cottage for a relaxing holiday.Clover Cottage is a charming stone-built cottage located in the village of Outhgill, not too far from Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria and its abundance of natural attractions. Bathroom - 1.68m x 2.46m (5'6 x 8'1) - Fitted with a toilet, a wash hand basin and a P-bath having a Mira mains fed shower over. The walls and floor are fully tiled and there is a wall light point, a heated towel rail, an extractor fan and uPVC double glazed window. Barn - 8.43m x 3.96m (27'8 x 13') - Having lights, power points and stairs to the first floor where there are also lights and power points. The well-equipped Pembrokeshire cottage accommodation has comfortable rooms, delightful gardens, and enjoys wonderful walks and cycle rides right from the doorstep.
Restrictions on Water heating meant we had to stagger the showers (There was 8 of us staying) I ended up having a couple of cold showers From Ambleside, a short stroll will bring you to the shores of Lake Windermere, where you can soak in some of the area's more enchanting views with a scenic stroll, or for something a little different, embark on a romantic steamer cruise from Waterhead Pier. The Cottage was lovely and became our home-from-home for a while. It was great because we had a washing machine and the cooker was a treat so we had everything we needed. The location was quiet and peaceful although you will need a car if you want anything from the shop. There are some lovely walks too, with Wiston Castle just a short walk away and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Boasting a contemporary feel, with patio doors opening out to the enclosed garden, you can spend much of your downtime simply relaxing here. Utility Room - 2.41m x 1.73m (7'11 x 5'8) - Fitted to one side with shaker style units and a granite effect work surface incorporating a stainless steel single drainer sink and with space and plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer. A floor mounted Worcester oil fired condensing boiler (Installed 2022) provides the hot water and central heating. There is a single radiator and uPVC double glazed door to the outside.Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Outside there is a well-maintained enclosed garden for exclusive use of the guests and parking for two vehicles. The Fife Coastal Path runs adjacent to the field in front of the cottage, easily reached in a short walk and from here you can travel East towards Crail and West towards Cellardyke and Anstruther. The cottage is extremely well equipped with good quality equipment, everything you need for a relaxing break. We took our own sunloungers down and this made sitting in the garden, overlooking the lake watching the paddle boarders etc.pleasant and comfortable. When the pontoon is completed it will be another asset to the property. A superb holiday! Venture further afield to explore the wonderful Howgill Fells or the majestic Pendragon Castle and Brough Castle.
Beautiful stone property with magnificent views located within walking distance of the village on the north-western edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Just a 30-minute stroll along the South Coast Pathway, past the Marinas and a couple of well-known pubs and restaurants, is the Mount Batten ferry which takes you straight over to The Barbican in the port City of Plymouth. Pikehall is a lovely rural location, with the property resting on a working farm and a fabulous countryside trail only moments from your doorstep, as well as being the location for the Y Not Festival, occurring each year in July. That's not all, with the addition of a Juliet balcony, you can stroll outside at your own leisure and take in the delightful garden views. The window seat in the sitting room makes a lovely spot to enjoy a good book or to just relax and watch the ever-changing views across the lake.
Enjoy a meal at the dining table in the living/dining room before settling down into the leather sofa and catching up on a good book in this light and airy space. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate. All the little touches and plants formed part of the updating of the cottage ,and it all comes down to personal taste. If you had mentioned this at the time, we would have gladly removed any objects that you felt got in your way.
